First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Reed.
Sales Executive
The whole experience from applying to getting the offer took about a week. Olivia, the recruiter, was super helpful and made me feel comfortable. She gave me feedback and answered all my questions. The interview itself was pretty straightforward. There was a telephone role play, which I'd recommend practicing for. I heard back the same day that I got the job.
- Can you tell me why you're interested in this particular role?
- What's your understanding of Reed.co.uk?
- What is your greatest professional achievement?
Sales Executive
Super chill process basically: a phone chat and then an assessment day where there were some tests like an introduction, basic math, and a role-play. For the role-play, I had to act as a sales agent at a travel agency. The goal was to talk to the customer, figure out what they needed and how much they were willing to spend. Since there wasn't a specific package to sell, I had to really focus on the sales aspect to encourage them to spend more or adjust their priorities.
- What are your motivations for joining our company?
Sales Executive
We started with a group sales challenge where we had to debate, argue, and convince others. Then, there was a one-on-one interview about my experience and interest in the job. Finally, we did a phone role-play where I had to sell the company's products to a made-up company.
- Why are you interested in a sales career?
