My interview was easy and good. The hiring manager was nice and they really wanted to hire people new to the field who wanted to learn and be trained. It didn't feel scary, more like a chance to grow. They asked questions about how I could adapt and help the team. The manager explained the job and training well, which made me feel good about succeeding. It showed me that being enthusiastic and willing to learn is important when changing careers. It was a good learning experience and helped me gain confidence for future growth.

It was a pretty standard interview process. First there were some online tests, then an online recorded interview, followed by an in-person interview and then another follow-up final interview. Everyone I met was really nice. The only issue was having to work in the retail store for a long time, which I mentioned in the interview. I made it to the final interview, but they never even called me back to give feedback, which was really unprofessional.

I interviewed onsite at the Addison headquarters. First, I had a 30-minute meeting with the Recruiting Manager and HRBP. If they liked me, I would then meet the head of Talent Acquisition. I was told the HR/Recruiting team was full of nice people, but my experience was the opposite. Both interviewers were unfriendly and seemed uninterested in my background from the start. The meeting ended after about 25 minutes and I was shown out.

This interview process was back in 2018 when I had just graduated university. They asked some pretty challenging questions. I made it to the final round of interviews, but they ended up selecting another candidate. The job offer was also quite low, and I ended up getting into a higher-paying graduate program shortly after. I think I made a mistake by mentioning that I had also applied to work at some banks, which they seemed to take offense to.
