First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Redwood Living.
Property Manager
It was a really thorough process with many steps, but everyone I met was super nice and polite. It didn't feel like a high-pressure situation at all. They asked pretty standard questions and we even shared some jokes and personal stories. We also chatted about company dynamics and what the expectations are.
- Can you describe your previous experience dealing with conflict management?
- What are your thoughts on company dynamics and expectations?
Leasing Professional
It was a straightforward interview process. They asked valid questions about my software experience, years of experience, strengths, and weaknesses. The interviewer also discussed company policies and values. The interview was very comfortable, and I got to learn about the company to see if it was a good fit.
- Tell me about your experience.
- What are your strengths?
- What are your weaknesses?
Leasing Agent
It was different. I was very excited for the opportunity to work for what seemed like such a great company, after reading about them online! My mind quickly changed about 3 minutes into the interview. The interviewer seemed annoyed. She also said she had to ask questions 'the big wigs' (as she put it) had her asking. I felt uncomfortable through the whole process of the one on one interview due the constant bashing of the company and 'big wigs'. Pretty happy I did not get an offer at this point, but I'm sure all offices and interviews are different! I hope the company is as amazing as it seemed.
- Looking back, is there anything you would change?
- Could you describe what effective communication entails?
Application Development Manager
I was contacted by their HR department to schedule a time to talk and they said they would call me directly. When the scheduled time came, they called at the exact time and when I answered, nobody was on the other side. I reached back to the HR rep for Redwood and asked if everything was ok and after about 15 minutes she responded that she was having cell phone issues and asked if we could schedule the call for the next day. I offered several times that I was available, but no response...then after 3 days, I received the notification that they have decided to pursue other candidates. If they weren't interested in interviewing me, then they should never have scheduled an interview. This was an extreme waste of my time.
- Is it possible to reschedule our call?
