First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at RediClinic.
Family Nurse Practitioner
After I applied online, I got a call to talk about my clinical experience and review my resume. Then, they set up an in-person interview with the clinic coordinator and some clinic staff. That same person also sent me a sample of what my schedule would look like, showing I'd work every other weekend on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I also got a tour of the clinic and met the clinical support team. I got the job offer later that same day. The whole thing was really fast.
- Can you tell me about your best qualities?
- What would you consider your worst qualities?
- Tell me about a difficult situation you faced and how you handled it.
Family Nurse Practitioner
Applied online. Had a phone interview where HR explained the process and schedule, which was helpful. HR asked about why I left past jobs and other questions to see if I was a fit. Then I had a face-to-face interview with the Clinical Director and an Area Clinical Manager. They asked about my experience and some clinical knowledge. They also presented a scenario about a typical urgent care visit. The interview was long and focused on whether I would overprescribe antibiotics. They asked this in various ways, and I answered based on my experience and knowledge, but I didn't get an offer despite my years of experience. Unsure what they were looking for.
- A child presents with a fever of 101, sore throat, and nasal congestion. How would you manage this case?
- Following your management plan, the child tests positive for strep. What antibiotic and dosage would you administer?
- What would be your course of action if the child has a Penicillin allergy?
Clinician
It was super easy! You just need to talk about your customer service skills. The managers will make it sound like a really great place to work! Just focus on highlighting your customer service skills and how you can manage challenging interactions with patients and their families.
- Can you tell me about your strengths and what your goals are?
- What would you say are your weaknesses?
- How do you approach handling difficult situations?
Training Director
The interview process was really positive, even though I didn't get an offer. RediClinic recruiters are great at screening and prepping candidates, and they keep you really informed. I had two interview rounds with four senior managers. They were all prepared and asked relevant questions, and were very professional and nice to talk to.
- The interview questions focused on RediClinic's business needs and how I would address them.
