First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at RedCloud Consulting.
Payroll/AP Administrator
I was contacted by a recruiter for the Payroll/AP Manager role and went through several interview stages. These included meetings with the hiring manager, a consulting managing partner, and the Director of Operations. Everyone was professional and knowledgeable, and it seemed like the job fit my 16 years of payroll and accounts payable experience. After the final in-person interview and sending thank-you notes, I didn't hear anything for about two weeks. I reached out multiple times before they told me they decided to go a different way. While I appreciate their time, better timelines and more regular communication would have made the experience better.
- Can you walk me through your experience in payroll and accounts payable?
- What's your approach to making sure payroll is accurate and follows regulations?
- Which systems and tools are you familiar with for Payroll and AP functions?
Program Manager
The interview process was fast, clear and very direct, starting with a 30 min phone screen with the recruiter, then a virtual interview with the technical manager, an HR rep, and finally looping back to the onboarding team.
- Tell me about your program management skills.
- How do you approach cross-functional engagement?
- What do you know about infrastructure physical security for Data Centers?
Head of Sales and Marketing
The company's selection process is really well put together and makes you feel welcome, really showing their values and how much they care about giving candidates a good experience. Right from the start, they were clear and respectful in how they communicated, and they gave detailed feedback at every step, which shows they're professional and committed. Plus, the interviews themselves felt relaxed and lively, letting candidates show their skills naturally. They pay attention to the little things, like being on time and being transparent, which makes the whole process even more encouraging. It's clear they value people and want to build long-term relationships with their employees.
- Can you describe a tough situation you encountered in your career and explain your approach to resolving it?
Consultant
I got a call from the recruiter and the process moved fast. It started with a few calls with RedCloud people, from HR to the practice director for the project. After that, I had a phone interview with someone from the client I'd be working with. Then, I had an in-person interview with the RedCloud practice director and a Managing Partner. Finally, I had an in-person interview on-site with a few people from the client who manage the project I was interviewing for.
- Tell me about your background and how it relates to this project and role.
