First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Red Light Management.
Intern
Applied online through a somewhat lengthy application. There was only one interview and a quick response followed. The questions were straightforward and unsurprising, and the interview was generally relaxed. They spent more time informing me about the role than asking me questions. It was definitely up to me to make my case for the position.
- What is your motivation for wanting to join Red Light Management?
Intern
Got referred by someone who works at another office. About two days after that, someone reached out to schedule an in-person interview. The interview itself was pretty short, only 15 minutes, and it was with the intern coordinator and the office manager. They seemed to already know they wanted to offer me the role, so it felt like the interview was just a formality.
- Tell me about your interests.
- What do you know about our company?
- What do you want to achieve during this internship?
Intern
Had a quick, informal chat (about 20 mins) with the internship program lead. They asked me general behavioral questions and also some about my knowledge of the music industry and my personal music tastes. The employees were dressed casually and 'hip,' and I think showing up in a suit might have hurt my chances.
- Tell me about your favorite concert from the past year.
