Industrial and Commercial Services
The interview process was short and sweet. They promised work uniforms and boots, but folks I know didn't get them for about 6 months. The building has no AC or windows, so you're on your own when it's hot. I'm telling everyone now, this job is terrible. They didn't even give me an elevator key, so I have to run up and down the stairs. The elevator also breaks a lot, like most things here. Management will talk about work standards, but don't listen; they expect you to work non-stop with no breaks, and you'll get in trouble if you do. The water dispenser has been broken for a week and still isn't fixed. Seriously, don't come here, STAY AWAY. The pay and benefits are okay, and there are some good days, but the work environment is awful.
- As long as you have warehouse experience, you should be okay, but I would literally come here as a last choice option.

The interview process started with an initial phone screen with an HR representative at their Atlanta HQ. This was followed by a second phone screen with the head of AM's in the Bay Area. Then there was an in-person interview with the head of AM's in the Bay Area. I also did a ride-along for a client meeting with another AM. After all that, I was told they "forgot a few steps" and I had to do another phone screen with someone from HR at a local level. The process took TWO MONTHS and was very inefficient and unorganized. Apparently, some of the interview process was revamped while I was in the middle of it, which is why I had to circle back and redo phone screens with various HR managers. What I found most disappointing was that after TWO MONTHS of interviewing (with the ride along taking half of my day), I was not provided with an ounce of feedback about why I was not selected. I feel that after six interviews over two months the company owes the candidate a little more feedback then "thank you for your time." I believe this to be a glimpse of what it may be like to work for Recall; unorganized, inefficient and lack of feedback for employees.

Got an email from a recruiter to set up a phone screen. We did the phone screen and I moved to the next step, which was an in-person interview with the direct manager. The office was really cool, contemporary with a glass ceiling and roof. The first interview was pretty easy. The manager was in person, but a remote colleague joined the call. We discussed my work experience and how I could help them on projects. I passed this interview and moved to the second step, interviewing with my direct manager's manager. I think he had the final say, but he wasn't impressed with me. We talked about my job history and how I could contribute to their future applications. A couple of weeks passed, no decision was made, and the position was put on hold, then dissolved.

The hiring process was pretty fast, wrapping up in about two weeks from the first phone screen to the offer. It involved one phone screen and then two in-person interviews. I found the HR manager leading it to be a bit combative. He'd schedule calls without checking my availability and expected me to be ready for on-site interviews with little notice, which was inconvenient. He was also argumentative and rude when I asked questions. For instance, when I asked about company culture, he said, "Let's be real. Companies care about making money, not their employees. You can expect that." This was a major red flag for me. Even though I liked my direct managers and some other people I met, his attitude really put me off the working environment at Recall. When they made their offer, I asked for the weekend to consider it because I had another offer that same week and needed to discuss it with my husband. The HR manager was pushy and reluctant to give me that time. After I accepted the other offer, he got upset and accused me of playing games to get a higher salary (which wasn't true). He was rude and said I had wasted his time. I'm glad I saw this early and avoided making a mistake by accepting their offer. The salary and bonus were good, and the vacation time was generous.
