REAN Cloud Interview Questions
& Process

Applied through cdac and found the questions to be very easy, but didn't get any positive response. The first round consisted of aptitude questions focusing on logical and quantitative reasoning, followed by technical interviews. There was no HR round involved in the process.

I was contacted by Nick Martinelli on LinkedIn after applying for the job there. Nick and I had an initial phone call, and he really made me feel good about the company. Nick knew a lot about REAN Cloud and made me feel comfortable. He was great and didn't just focus on my salary requirements so the interviewers could see me without a number in mind, which I appreciated. After that, I had a phone interview with another PM who asked standard questions. Then I came in for an interview where I actually interviewed with another candidate for the position. We had to work together on a project using agile to show our PM skills. This exercise was good because it showed me more about REAN Cloud and helped them see my work style. By this point, I had been interviewing for two weeks, and Nick kept me updated. Finally, I had two phone interviews with the head of PMO and Sri. I really enjoyed talking with both of them. I'm excited to join REAN Cloud.

So I have 18+ years in tech, and the interview process was mostly standard, but with a few unique twists. First, the recruiter, Nick, was incredibly straightforward and transparent, which was refreshing. He answered everything honestly, and if he didn't know, he'd find out and get back to me. No fake hype about money or the company. He was just objective. Second, for a technical role like this, they usually ask for pseudocode or how I'd solve a problem. But here, they gave me access to an actual AWS environment, an assignment, and told me to take my time, but first tell them how long I thought it would take and my plan. Then I just did it. I actually learned a lot from that hands-on part. I think this approach might become standard for Cloud Engineers. Third, the most interesting part was when the hiring manager realized mid-process that while I fit the role I applied for, I was actually a better fit for a different, unadvertised position, which I ended up taking!

Nick, the Senior HR Manager at REAN Cloud, was fantastic, really great to work with. I had about five phone interviews, and they all started on time. The interviewers were easy to talk to. The whole thing felt pretty casual, though the final in-person interview in Virginia had a bit of pressure. Overall, it was a great experience, probably the best I've had.
