They had several rounds of interviews, starting with a hiring specialist to get general info, then meeting with people from the department. As it went on, the questions got more specific. The questions weren't super tough, but you definitely needed to prep beforehand.

The interview process felt informal and uneventful. It didn't give a great impression of the job or company culture. I had three interviews, and they actually tried to persuade me to apply to a competitor instead of this role. Also, there didn't seem to be much opportunity for career advancement within the company.

I had three interviews, including one phone screen, for the Associate Property Manager role within the company's portfolio management division. I spoke with a senior property manager who is now a director, and a leasing and dispositions analyst. They explained everything very clearly and answered all my questions easily. Unfortunately, I wasn't offered the job because they needed someone with more experience who could start right away, and I still had about two months left of university. It was a good overall experience with a great company though. I'm actually interviewing with them again at their new Carmel Valley, California location.

The recruiter rescheduled our initial phone interview for a busy weekend, and then, surprisingly, called an hour early on the day of the rescheduled interview to ask if we could talk right then. I agreed. It felt like my time wasn't valued, and the recruiter was eager to start her weekend. She was impatient and hurried, cutting me off and finishing my sentences instead of listening. The interview ended early at 25 minutes. I was relieved to get a generic rejection email later, wondering how I'd be treated as an employee if this is how they treated candidates.
