First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Realty Austin.
Social Media Coordinator
They do a 30 minute intro chat and then you gotta do a social media test where you make mock posts for a listing and a blog. You also have to present that assessment. Then they let you know if you got the job.
- What would managing 15-20 agents with diverse content, personalities, and styles look like?
Broker's Assistant
The interview process was easy and everyone was friendly and professional. They explained the job details thoroughly. I appreciated the opportunity. They invited me back for a second interview, but I didn't hear back about whether the position was filled or if they chose another applicant, so I had to take another job offer.
- Would you be okay working remotely full-time?
Marketing Coordinator
Got a quick call with the marketing director first, then went to their headquarters for an in-person interview with the CEO, VP, and marketing director. They asked me to bring work samples and walk through my resume. It was a mix of technical questions and questions about my personality and work style.
- Which analytics tools have you used?
- What's your experience with Wordpress?
- Have you previously managed anyone?
Social Media Coordinator
First, I had to complete a marketing packet which involved creating posts for a listing and a blog, along with sample graphics for each. Then, I interviewed with the head of marketing and two other marketing employees. It was pretty laid-back and they asked straightforward questions about why I like marketing and about my background.
- In what ways does your previous experience at (company) relate to this position?
