Process Improvement Manager
I applied online and a recruiter called me for a 30 min Teams chat. They liked my background and then another HR person set me up with the Hiring Managers. I had a 30 min chat with 2 Managers and then another 30 min chat with the Hiring Manager. The 2 Managers interview was kind of stiff, both of them seemed kind of uninterested, but the one with the Hiring Manager went well. He was enthusiastic and we had a good chat. After the interview, I started getting weekly calls from different HRs to check on me and to let me know I was still being considered. Until the calls stopped, so I figured they must have picked somebody else which's fine, but when you string along a candidate, at least have the decency to let them know they were not selected.

Support Engineer
It was great to connect with them, they were very friendly and asked some questions about my work experience. The process was pretty good and had three rounds. I also got a good response in a few days. I connected with them via the website, and it was an easy process to apply.

Senior Data Engineer
I got contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn. Then, she called me, and we set up my first interview with their Sr. Director of Engineering. I found out this role was with ZapLabs, which Realogy bought a while ago. The interview was an hour long. It started well discussing my background, but then it seemed like my interviewer was more into understanding the full architecture, design, and setup of my current company. Not sure if it was an interview or if he was gathering ideas for his own project. He said I was technically fine but wanted another programming interview. Neither he nor the recruiter followed up on what's next.

- Could you describe the architecture of your current work environment?

Commissions Processor
I applied for two jobs, Commissions Processor and Transaction Processor. HR decided to combine both applications into a single interview, which seemed odd, but I went with it since HR said I was being considered for both. The initial 10-minute phone chat was pretty standard. HR asked how I found out about the company, my motivation for applying, my salary expectations, and to describe my previous work experience. I asked about the salary, the number of openings, and the expected start date. The only detail I got was that there were 9 openings. It was strange not to get a salary range or start date confirmation, but I figured the hiring manager might clarify the start date. The next day, I got an email to interview with two hiring managers and could pick my own time. On the interview day, I was a bit taken aback that neither manager seemed to dress professionally. I get the WFH thing and casual dress code, but couldn't they have swapped their hoodies for a button-down shirt or blouse? It felt like they didn't want to be there and saw me as wasting their time. They were also really vague about the job details, the start date, and what the next steps were, just saying 'We don't know.' I left feeling unsure. A few days later, I got an email for a skills assessment, but the link was broken. I told HR, and they sent a mass email saying they knew about the issue and would send a second email once it was fixed. A few more days passed, and over the weekend, I got a rejection email for both positions. I was confused because I was just invited to take an assessment, and now I'm rejected? I held off on replying to HR, thinking it might be a system error, maybe I got rejected because I didn't do the assessment. No follow-up from HR on Monday. On Tuesday, I reached out and was told the rejection email was not a mistake, and they decided to move forward with other candidates who were a better fit. What a joke, a total waste of my time. This company is incredibly unprofessional throughout the entire process. My advice? Don't bother.
