Had an initial phone interview, then a remote video one. The interviewer was remote too. It felt super rushed and one-way, with no time for me to ask questions. At the end, they said it was a great fit and I was moving on, expecting an email soon to schedule the next interview with someone higher up. But then... nothing. I never heard back. I followed up via email with both interviewers, but still no response. Honestly, don't bother with companies that disrespect your time and will ghost you after a month. The bad reviews online were spot on. Very unprofessional.

I applied online, and a recruiter reached out quickly to schedule a chat with my future manager. The recruiter was super helpful. When I got there, the recruiter gave me a tour and introduced me to some people before the interview. The executive recruiting manager joined, which was unexpected. My potential boss and the executive recruiter interviewed me. They were really conversational and let me talk as much as I wanted. It felt comfortable, not like an ambush, even with two interviewers. They explained the job duties, and they were mostly right, actually underselling it a bit because I can do more. After the interview, I sent a thank you note the next day. The recruiter kept me updated and answered questions, but they kept delaying the decision. Two weeks later, I got a call about the pay, and I thought I was getting an offer. I said yes, but it turned out they just wanted to know my interest. They sent pre-hire paperwork, which I returned. Another two weeks passed before I heard they were officially offering me the job I thought I'd already accepted. Apparently, they were waiting for approval from higher up, which was a bit concerning. My start date was about three weeks after that. Overall, it was a good experience, just a bit slow. Everyone was really nice and friendly, not intimidating. I've been here almost three months, and the job is even better than I expected, so it all worked out well.

I had nine years of experience in HOA/Condo Management in Dallas/Ft Worth before contacting RealManage. My former employer's partners split, and my Director role was too expensive for the smaller companies that resulted, so I got a month's severance. Networking helped me identify strong companies in Dallas. RealManage/CiraConnect was a top choice due to industry knowledge and reputation. I reached out to a former colleague there, and interviewed within a week. I was given an IQ test and an Accounting Test, which I found enjoyable and appreciated the screening. I knew I'd be in a leadership role as the company grew, and I lead by example. About 10 days after testing and the initial interview, I received an offer. I actually started 5 days before the official offer date because I was invited to periodic software training.

I got a call from the HR Manager who said they had a lot of resumes to screen. He passed my info to the hiring manager, and I was invited for an interview and assessment. I got a confirmation email but no info on who I'd be meeting. I asked and found out it was a 12-minute aptitude test, then a 40-minute accounting test, followed by an interview. I questioned this order, as testing usually comes after meeting someone, and I wasn't sure I wanted the job yet. I was told if I did poorly on the tests, the interview would be cancelled. This seemed odd, especially since I'd be driving 60 miles round trip just to find out if I was interested in working there, possibly after wasting almost an hour on tests. Because the hiring process felt inconsiderate, I decided to cancel the interview. I also learned the subsidiary CiraConnect is run like its parent company, RealManage, which has many negative reviews.

  • I cancelled the in-person interview and there was no actual phone interview.
