Tutor
I applied on indeed and got notified within a couple days. I was hired on the spot. It was an easy process and their hours are mainly after school sessions. During the summer they do have summer camp tutoring to work in.

Private Tutor
The boss wanted to see how well new hires could teach. So, the interview mostly consisted of questions about past experiences and how I might approach different scenarios. It was pretty relaxed and lasted about an hour. There was also an exam to show I could teach the subject matter, which seemed reasonable. Overall, it was quite easy.

The interview process was quick and straightforward. If you meet their specific criteria, they'll hire you right away because they know it's all about relationships. They'll ask you directly about your past experiences, any connections you have with other tutoring companies, and how flexible you are with your schedule. On the flip side, they're upfront about what they offer and will pay you fairly based on your experience.
