Marketing Director
This was a really weird interview. I had a phone interview for a job in middle TN, but the recruiter was in the UK. She was super unclear about the time zone for the interview, only saying when she was available. The questions were really generic marketing stuff. She didn't explain the role at all and I didn't get to ask any questions about the company or the job. It felt like she was just going through a checklist, and some questions didn't make sense or contradicted what I'd already said, like she wasn't paying attention to the conversation.
- Can you tell me about a marketing campaign you were involved in, and how you tracked its success?
Franchise Development
The interview process was disorganized. None of the C-level executives had experience selling or running franchises, and they seemed apprehensive. The interviews were conducted individually with all C-level staff. Many questions were repeated, and there was a lack of coordination. One interviewer just wanted to discuss their past experiences. While all questions were valid, none specifically focused on franchise sales, which is understandable given the C-suite's inexperience in franchising.
- Tell me about a situation where you lacked necessary resources and how you handled it.
Sales Consultant
The interview process was pretty easy and to the point. The questions they asked were all about the job itself, nothing out of the ordinary. The interviewers were nice and down-to-earth, and the whole thing moved pretty fast from when I first applied to getting the final job offer.
- Were the questions related to the job as expected?
Design Consultant
I haven't been interviewed back-to-back like this before, but I think I'd rather do that than have to come back another time for a second or third interview. I do like that I didn't have to wait too long before the next interview was set up!
- Can you tell me why you're interested in this role and what makes you feel it's a good match for you?
- How would you respond to a client who stated they would sign the contract if you could secure them an appointment for the very next day?
