First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at RDI Software.
Junior Developer
The process was a bit lengthy and even tiring. I was called for an interview for another position, and I had already submitted the test. After being approved, I was informed there would be another stage, and it was scheduled for the very next day, leaving me no time to prepare. During the Live code interview, the prompt was read only once, and there was no way to refer back to it; I could only ask the recruiter, who would then re-read it. This made me extremely nervous and caused me to forget the entire prompt.
- Tell me about your experiences.
- What new things have you been learning in the market?
- How do you stay updated?
Junior Developer
It was a somewhat lengthy but very attentive process. First, an initial interview, then a technical test I had a week to complete, followed by another interview with the test evaluators and a final interview with the leader of the sector I would be working in.
- Do you know English?
- Do you know how to work in a team?
- Do you keep yourself constantly updated?
Junior Developer
They gave us a course, then we had an initial interview, followed by the course, and finally an evaluation, which included both a technical test and another interview. The evaluation was excessive for a junior role, especially since that was supposedly the position we were applying for. The technical test was harder than expected for a junior. Even after passing, they said there were no openings at that time. Also, the company didn't clearly explain the stages; they just informed us about the next step after we passed the previous one. The first interview was straightforward, covering personal questions and technology knowledge. The second interview was more professional, but it felt like it was designed to trip up the candidate.
- During the first interview, they asked about personal life and previous technology knowledge. They also inquired about English proficiency, even though it wasn't a stated requirement.
- In the second interview, the technical questions became more specific.
