First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at RCS & RDS.
Technical Support Specialist
The interview process involved an ABCD test with the team lead, and questions related to CCNA knowledge. It wasn't overly complicated. The offer usually arrives a bit late, so try not to panic. You'll receive meal tickets and work in shifts, though not necessarily night shifts, depending on your location.
- Candidates are generally sought for having technical university degrees.
Software Developer
The interview process can vary depending on the specific position. It's important to be transparent, communicative, and show a desire to improve. My interview focused on the software I developed, including the reasoning behind my choices of functions and architecture. There was an opportunity to present and discuss code I had written. Sometimes, candidates are given a take-home project to complete over a few days, followed by another interview to discuss it.
- Tell me about the software you've built.
- What was your reasoning for using specific functions and architecture in your projects?
- Walk me through some code you've written.
Customer Service Representative
It started with a recruiter call for a brief chat with HR. If it seems like a good fit, they give you a day to come in for a computer test. This test covers communication in customer-company scenarios, plus a quiz on operating systems, browsers, email, and internet stuff. If you pass that, you move on to a final group interview. In this group interview, they'll ask about your past work experience, what salary you're looking for, and any relevant skills you have. Then, you'll do a role-play where one person acts as an unhappy customer and the other as the employee, dealing with a tricky fictional situation to see how you can resolve it and convince the 'customer'.
- How do you manage to stay calm when a customer is upset?
Front End Developer
The interview was conducted online. They started by presenting the role and discussing the company and team. It was a good interview overall, but unfortunately, I didn't receive an offer. My advice would be to prepare beforehand.
- Tell me about yourself.
- Can you answer a few technical questions?
