The third party HR was really incompetent. She couldn't open email attachments due to her protection software, which she made my problem. The interviews themselves were okay, with monotone and uninterested employees. I didn't get any feedback when I was denied the role.

The interview process started with an initial quiz which was pretty simple, asking about graphic analysis and basic real estate terms. After that, there was an initial phone screening, followed by a video interview with two managers. The final interview was about an hour long, with basic interview questions and then a difficult real estate case question. One of the managers was 30 minutes late to the final interview, which messed up the flow and I had to repeat questions. This interviewer also seemed uninterested, distracted, and was abrasive and unwelcoming, checking emails and messing with their camera. After the final interview, I was ghosted and HR didn't respond to my follow-up. It was a really unprofessional experience.

Started by connecting with RCLCO execs at an on-campus event, then sent in my resume and cover letter. Got a phone interview with a senior exec, which was pretty intense and covered personal background, academic details, behavioral stuff like favorite classes, tough projects, and teamwork, plus a technical/case question about real estate research. It was tougher than some in-person interviews I've had, but overall really interesting and fun. Then I got invited in for another interview with one executive for 30 mins, focusing on behavior/fit and more case questions. After that, two other execs joined for a 30-40 min chat, mostly about fit, which was more laid-back. The people were super smart, knew their stuff, and were really nice. You could really tell it's a company with strong values and a smart, collaborative culture.
