Intern
Had a standard phone interview asking about my background and employment history. Shortly after, I was scheduled for an in-person interview. It was more about learning the history and culture of the company. I was able to meet and chat with some key members at the company before being given the offer.
- Tell me about your advertising experience.
Intern
The first step was a 15-minute HR phone call. They explained what the company does, discussed the intern stipend and its benefits compared to a salary, and mentioned potential hiring after 90 days. Paid parking and work hours were also covered, along with the company's diverse culture. The next interview was on-site, where I completed a challenging Excel formulas test. I think I did well on the test and was ultimately offered the internship.
- What motivated your interest in this Marketing internship?
Media Assistant
I responded to their advertisements and had a phone interview. It took two weeks to get to a face-to-face meeting. I was scheduled for two interviews on the same day, but the CEO had to leave before conducting the second one. Despite my hectic schedule, I had to follow up for three weeks before being informed that the job was no longer available, and they could only offer an internship with a stipend... which was a big mistake to accept.
- The Excel test was difficult.
