The interview was conducted very politely, but precisely and competently. There were unexpected questions about difficult professional situations, unfortunately, the feedback was negative. 3 employees participated in the interview. It seemed they had many applications and were looking for someone more senior with long professional experience.

The hiring process felt really professional and they moved quickly. Pretty soon after I sent my resume, they emailed to set up a phone chat. Since I was in a different city, they were super flexible with my work schedule and the time difference. After the first call, I chatted with the people I'd be working with directly. Then, I did a writing test, which felt right for the job. The final step was an in-person interview, and that really confirmed for me that this would be a great move, and thankfully, they agreed!

Behavioral Technical

The interview process at rbb Communications is really thorough and practical. It started with a screening phone call, then I had to do a timed writing test. The very next day after finishing the writing test, I was invited for an interview. The in-person interview highlighted two things I really liked: 1) they are very hands-on and 2) they were mindful of my time throughout the whole process. I spoke with the HR specialist, an executive vice president/partner, a senior vice president/director, and a senior account executive. This really showed me that the company operates and is managed in a very hands-on and transparent way. It's rare to find companies where you meet senior management from the start, let alone be interviewed by them. All in all, the process was in-depth enough for both the company and me to get to know each other.

So about 3 months back, the recruiter at rbb reached out. We had a first phone chat where they asked me to do an assignment and send in a video the same day. The next day, they got back asking for a second, more detailed assignment, due by the end of the week, which I did. Then, two weeks later, they contacted me to come in for an in-person interview right away, stressing how fast things were moving. I went in. A few more weeks passed, and they called again to have me come in (on a holiday!) to meet the CEO and my potential team. I did. About two months after that, they still hadn't decided. Now, they've told me the role has changed and doesn't fit my background anymore. The company and people were great, but the whole interview process was super frustrating. I put a lot of effort into assignments and interviews, and rearranged my schedule for what they called 'urgent' deadlines, only to be left hanging for months and then hear the role changed. I get that things happen, but I was really excited about working there, so I'd expect a bit more respect for my time and work.
