First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Razorpay.
Product Designer
The interview process was pretty straightforward: Round 1 was a portfolio review, and Round 2 was a whiteboarding session. My portfolio round went well, where they asked questions about the process I followed, etc., but the second round, the whiteboarding, had high expectations.
- Could you describe your typical design process?
- What is your usual design process like?
Product Designer
It was a 4-round interview process, which was quite straightforward. There was a take-home assignment that needed to be submitted within 2 days. I felt that maybe the timeframe could have been a bit longer, or at least that the assignment should have been given over the weekend.
- Can you walk me through your portfolio?
- What are your thoughts on critiquing this app?
- Please complete the take-home assignment.
Product Designer
I applied on LinkedIn and HR reached out to me about 2 weeks after applying. I had 4 rounds of technical interview followed by an HR round. The entire process from the first call till the last round took about 3 weeks.
- Logical, puzzle based questions.
- System design questions.
