First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Razer.
Data Engineer Intern
So, it was a 3-round process. First up was a quick chat with the person who would be my supervisor. Then, I had to do this take-home technical test. The final round was an interview with the lead and supervisor, where we went over the take-home test and they asked me some behavioral stuff too. The technical part wasn't too tough if you've got a basic-to-intermediate handle on data handling and flow. The whole thing took about 3 weeks, and everyone involved was really nice and helpful.
- Can you share an experience with a project where you were responsible for managing data?
Data Engineer
The first interview was with the hiring manager, who was friendly and professional and knew what he wanted. The second interview was an online assessment with one of the managers, which involved live coding. Overall, the experience was fine.
- Can you tell me about your past work experience?
Data Engineer
It was unprofessional and had poor ethics. They ridiculed me before I could even introduce myself. They asked a question after 5 minutes but seemed unmotivated to continue. I don't know what their purpose was.
- Can you tell me more about yourself?
