The process was absolutely ridiculous. It has been over 60 days and I still have not heard back, in regards to getting a second interview. Not even a job offer. First, a phone interview. Super easy the girl I spoke with was great. Then I got emailed about an in person interview. (A week after they said I’d be contacted, I had to email and ask if they had any updates) I went in for the in person interview, the lady was nice, and I felt it went really well. Questions were fairly easy, nothing one can’t handle. After the interview, she said I would hear back in a week if I would get a second interview or not. Well it’s now been almost 6 weeks and I’ve heard nothing. I’ve emailed the HR lady twice and she said “I hope to have updates soon.” I finally emailed and said I’m no longer interested. Absolutely ridiculous it took so long.

I sent in my application online and about a week later, I got a call. The first step was a phone screen with HR. After that, I had an in-person interview with the front office supervisor and their boss, who were both really nice. They were checking my qualifications and also seeing if my personality would be a good fit with the team. During that meeting, I also did a working interview. The supervisor showed me how to schedule a patient in the system just once, and then I had to do it myself to show I could at least figure out how to use it. About an hour after leaving, HR called to schedule another in-person interview with the manager of the entire front office department. I barely spoke to this manager, maybe for 5 seconds, and she just asked what I was studying and a few other personal things to get to know me better. I think this last meeting was either just a formality or a quick chat to make sure I was a good fit. As I was leaving to go to my car, HR called to offer me the job.

The process was good overall and moved fast, possibly because I went through a recruiter with a good connection to the company. The interviews felt conversational, and I always got to ask questions about the company and role. It started with a friendly HR phone screen. Then, I had an in-person interview with two managers from the teams the role supports. Finally, there was a group interview with people I'd work with daily. It felt informal, like a meet-and-greet or round-table, which made it less intimidating.

I had a really bad experience with HR at this company, they were super childish. I knew I wouldn't take the job after how rude the HR rep was. They actually called me to tell me I didn't get the job, which seemed unnecessary since it was pretty obvious during the interview. I just wanted to get off the phone, but I had to stay polite during the second call. Nobody should have to deal with that kind of rudeness, no matter how much they want the job. It makes you wonder how they treat employees who actually work there.
