The interview process included an initial round where I was asked to introduce myself in English. This was followed by a second round that focused on customer experience (CX) questions, specifically how to handle angry customers and knowledge of company policies. The questions were tough, but I managed to stay calm and provide confident answers.

For the Email & Chat account advisor role, the process included: 1) An initial HR interview which was a group session where you had to introduce yourself. The recruiter might then ask you about what you've shared. If you passed this, you'd move to: 2) A typing test, needing at least 30 words per minute. If that was good, then: 3) An interview with the account team leader, similar to the HR one, where I was asked about my interest in customer service. Passing that led to: 4) The Aptis Test from the British Council, covering writing, listening, grammar, and vocabulary. All these steps could happen in one day. If successful: 5) A client interview via Google Hangouts, involving an introduction and a question about why I wanted to join Email and Chat at Raya. If all went well, the recruiter would extend a job offer.

Behavioral Technical Group

I applied online and got a recruiter call a few days later. They scheduled a 1:1 interview for two days later. The second interview was with another recruiter, who immediately asked me to 'Sell me this blank paper'. This interview was held in a crowded open lobby with other candidates present, making it a group setting rather than 1:1. The interviewer was interrupted twice to assist others. Although I didn't get this position, I was recommended for a different department. I was given an application to fill out and complete required tests before meeting another recruiter. Upon my return, the intended recruiter was unavailable. After waiting over 45 minutes, she returned and stated it was a mistake and that the department didn't hire women, yet she then directed a male candidate to do the tests for the same department. She then told me to wait for the first recruiter, who was in a long meeting. When I inquired about his return time or if she could contact him, she simply said to wait. Her colleague attempted to help me avoid another hour of waiting, but the recruiter raised her voice, repeatedly asking what she should do other than make me wait. Another employee informed me I'd be put on a waiting list. The overall atmosphere was very tense, with impatient staff and a lack of smiles or time for questions. The interview environment was poor, requiring loud voices to be heard. The only pleasant interaction was with the receptionist. The initial recruiter never even provided his name.
