First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Rave Mobile Safety.
Marketing Writer
I was contacted soon after applying and had an initial HR phone screen. Then, I had to do a writing assignment, which I completed successfully. After that, I had several video interviews with the hiring manager and other team members. The interviews included behavioral questions and general get-to-know-you questions. A couple of weeks later, HR informed me that hiring was delayed due to other deadlines. About a month later, I heard the manager was leaving and they were restructuring, so they'd let me know if it was still a fit, but they never got back to me.
- Could you describe what teamwork means to you?
Information Security Director
I applied online because I thought the company was growing and had a good purpose. A recruiter reached out a few weeks later to set up a call with the hiring manager. Then, I was invited for an in-person interview the following week. The conversations went well, and I offered a lot of free suggestions and recommendations. A couple of days after that, I got a text saying they decided not to move forward with my candidacy. I appreciated their time, but I felt like they couldn't afford me. I think it's basic professional courtesy to at least call someone to give feedback.
- Can you discuss your resume and how you can contribute to our future, considering salary expectations?
- General questions about my resume and how I could help the company in the future, with the lowest possible salary.
Account Executive
My interview process was really quick and smooth. First, a recruiter contacted me the day after I applied and set up a phone interview. Shortly after that, the hiring manager wanted to chat, and the recruiter arranged it. Then, they scheduled an in-person interview. The recruiter also sent over an online cognitive assessment. I then had individual meetings with the COO, hiring manager, and regional managers, which lasted about 1.5 hours. A few days later, the hiring manager called with an offer. The whole thing took about 3 weeks.
- What general questions did you get asked?
Support Engineer
I had a phone screen and then set up some zoom meetings for 4 days later, which seemed to go well. I was told to expect to hear back early the next week. I followed up two weeks later, but still no response over a month later. I assume I was passed over, but leading people on without even a rejection email is pretty callous.
- Can you tell me what you know about Rave Mobile Safety and their products?
