I went through a phone screen, a technical interview on Coderbyte, an interview with a company employee, and a final interview with the founder. The technical parts were kinda tough. The founder in the last interview had me sign an agreement to let them alter my resume, adding experience I never actually had. They said it's standard practice and they'd prep me on how to talk about it, claiming it helps build up enough experience for mid to senior roles. Personally, I wasn't cool with that.

Behavioral Technical Coding

We had a chat on Microsoft Teams. First, the interviewer asked me some standard get-to-know-you questions like, "Tell me about yourself" and "What's your background?" After that, we talked about Object-Oriented Programming concepts, and I gave verbal answers. Then, he shared a link with 3 coding problems. I had about 50 minutes to solve them while sharing my screen, and I was allowed to use Google for syntax. Once the time was up, he wanted me to walk him through my solutions. Finally, he asked if I had any questions for him, and that was it.

I was told the technical part would allow my camera to be off, but it needed to be on for questions about object oriented programming and myself. This didn't happen, as I was asked to keep my camera on the whole time. The interviewer wasn't very considerate, which flustered me and made me freeze. I couldn't even do simple string manipulation because I was too caught up on being lied to.

I was given 5 practice algorithm questions to do beforehand. The interview itself included 2 of those 5 questions plus a surprise third one. The interviewer barely spoke, maybe 4 words total. It's been a month and I haven't heard back. Weirdly, I'm now getting a lot of spam emails about jobs from India. I wish I'd seen other reviews about this before my interview, hopefully this saves someone else some trouble.
