First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Rapid Displays.
Account Manager
The first interview was with the hiring team and it was good, they asked engaging questions and seemed on top of things. The second interview was a mess. I didn't even get the full names or titles of the interviewers, so I had no clue who they were. One of them was 20 minutes late. Neither of them seemed prepared at all and had no idea about my background or that I was even recommended for the role. They decided to 'go in another direction' without even talking to my previous interviewers. There's a big disconnect at Rapid, and it was a total waste of my time.
- Can you detail your background and experience?
- Describe your process for handling [account management tasks].
- What's your approach to work?
Manager
It was a pretty relaxed interview process. I spoke with about 4 to 5 people, and also completed a personality assessment. I had the opportunity to talk with some of the team members and ask them questions. They also showed me around the office. I thought it was pretty interesting and not too nerve-wracking.
- Can you describe your approach to work ethic?
Account Manager
I was referred by an employee, which was pretty common then. The interview process was really informative, they gave me a detailed job description and I got a tour. I met with people I'd be working with closely, including my direct manager and other sales folks. It was a good experience overall.
- In your own words, what are your career aspirations for the next few years?
Project Manager
I interviewed at UNC and it was a good experience. The place has a good energy and I can see myself working there. They make cool displays and seem to be innovative. They told me that they are growing and it appears that way.
- What would your peers say about you?
