First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Range USA.
Sales Associate
It was pretty quick and easy, mostly they talked about the cool extra stuff you get working here. Like free shooting, getting discounts on accessories and firearms. Also, free classes for firearms. And a manufacturer discount on firearms and ammo sales.
- Can you tell me about your availability during the week?
Compliance Coordinator
I applied and was asked to schedule an interview within a couple days. The first interview was on Teams, and it was mostly basic questions about my professional and personal experiences. They said we would be moving forward and asked me to schedule a second interview with the department director. That one was also on Teams. The second interview was more direct, talking about the day-to-day duties and making sure I knew the responsibilities. I was told I'd hear back about next steps soon. Three days later, I got an automated denial email. I asked the recruiter for why I was turned down after two good interviews, but I was ghosted. It was super unprofessional and a waste of my time.
- Can you tell me about your past jobs and how those experiences, along with personal situations, connect to the responsibilities of this position?
- How do your professional and personal experiences relate to the duties of this role?
Store Operations Manager
It was a formal sit-down interview. They asked a mix of basic, personal, and job-related questions. Overall, it was a good and thorough experience, and they asked really good questions, showing they knew exactly what they were looking for.
- Can you describe a situation where you had to overcome a challenge with a coworker?
Manager
This was a pretty standard interview process, nothing too surprising or difficult. I was a bit taken aback by the lack of benefits, especially considering the company's recent growth. Also, they have a strict no-beard and no-visible-tattoos policy, which was unexpected.
- Were there many standardized interview questions asked?
