went through three video calls. First was with my direct manager, second with the HR manager, and the last with a stakeholder or team lead. The whole thing was super smooth, easy, and I felt comfortable asking about the role and what the day-to-day stuff would be like.

I applied online. They reached out about a different role but I was open to discuss other opportunities. The first step was a video interview with standard questions, one of which was about my salary expectations. They contacted me again saying I was a good fit but too expensive, and then set up a live video interview to talk about it. The person in the second interview was different from the recruiter and didn't seem to know about me. They also said I was too pricey and not a good match.

The interview process was really confusing and messy. It started with a phone interview with someone from Quebec, even though the job was in Toronto. I was told I'd be contacted about the role but never was. I reached out and scheduled another phone interview with a recruiter in Toronto. We confirmed the time, but the recruiter never called. I left a voicemail, expecting a callback from the interviewer, but again, no response. Then, unexpectedly, I got an invite for a face-to-face interview in Toronto. The post-interview part was also bad; I tried to get feedback from my interviewers, and they promised to follow up, but they never did.
