The interview was with the Account Manager who contacted me and her manager. They both took turns asking psychological questions. There was no mention of salary, benefits, or other employee-interesteing things. The interview felt like a test to see if they considered you up to their expectations.

There were a few phone calls and Google Meet chats, but they were pretty relaxed. I spoke with the recruiter, the branch manager, the district manager, and the head of recruiting. They moved pretty fast after that to offer me the job.

Behavioral Technical

I had an initial call with the recruiter who mentioned they urgently needed an Account Manager. Then, I went to the office for a second interview with a VP and the Branch Manager, which went really well. After that, I was supposed to meet some sales staff, but they were never available. Then, I found out from the same recruiter that there wasn't actually an Account Manager position open. She then told me about a different Account Manager role in another division at the same office and that they were keen to hire me because my previous interview was so good. So, I went to meet a different VP, but he said we weren't talking about the Account Manager role at all and that he was looking for a junior appointment booker. He was surprised I'd even consider it. When I said I was interviewing for the Account Manager role with his team, he said no such role existed and apologized, expressing his anger at the recruiter.
