First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ramp.
Account Executive
It was a standard interview process. Started with a call, then an intro interview, followed by a mock sales pitch, then meeting a team member, and finally hearing back. Basically, just study their website and how people at Gong sell, and that's what they're looking for.
- What makes you want to join this company?
Account Executive
The hiring manager from a competitor reached out. It was a long process, taking about 40 hours on top of the actual calls. It involved a challenge and a one-on-one with the VP of sales. I didn't have a great experience overall. I'd heard the company was great and their marketing seemed to be doing well, but I wasn't impressed. It made me wonder about the work-life balance.
- Can you describe your typical day from waking up to going to sleep?
Account Executive
The interview process was flawless. The recruiting team was timely and communicated throughout. The pay range was discussed upfront. The people were tremendous and helped make this an easy decision to accept this offer. The interview process had 4 or 5 separate interviews, which is pretty normal in the tech space.
- Tell me about a time you had to have a tough conversation with a partner or vendor who wasn't living up to expectations.
