RAM Software Engineer Interview Questions
& Process

It was about an hour long. We started with introductions, then moved on to basic data structures and algorithms (DSA) and my projects. After that, they asked questions from core computer science subjects like database management systems (DBMS) and operating systems (OS). Finally, they asked if I was okay with relocating and working in rotational shifts.

You start by submitting your resume and maybe a cover letter through job boards, the company's site, or if you got a referral. Then, recruiters or software check your resume to see if you meet the basic requirements. After that, there's a short HR call (phone or video) to talk about your background, when you can start, what salary you're looking for, and if you're a good fit. Next, you might have a technical/skill test, which could be an online test or a coding assignment to check your technical skills. Then, you'll have one or more technical interviews with team members or experts where you'll solve problems, code, do case studies, or talk about your past projects. Following that, a managerial or panel interview with senior folks to check your soft skills, teamwork, problem-solving abilities, and if you'd fit into the company culture. Finally, an HR or final interview to go over company culture, policies, pay, and any last questions. Sometimes, you might also negotiate the offer during this stage.

The interview was good. They asked me about the software dev lifecycle and some technical questions. There were 5 rounds in total. Two of the rounds were technical, and the rest were HR rounds. The interviewers were cooperative. They asked me about the work we do in day-to-day activities.
