First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at RAM Technologies.
Development Engineer
I had an in-person interview with an engineer and a manager. Although the interview started late, everyone was really nice and helpful. They were upfront about the role, admitting that I wouldn't be using much of my degree and would mainly be troubleshooting machine and process issues.
- What do you dislike about your current job?
Engineer
The interview process was good, with decent questions and answers. The interview was at a good pace and with basic etiquette. They mostly asked general questions and gave answers, with sound technical interview rounds. They mostly overlooked company policies.
- What are your 5-year career aspirations?
Business Analyst
I was first contacted by a recruiter who passed along the lead. Then I spoke with the HR rep, and she called me back the next day to set up a face-to-face meeting. At the in-person interview, I met with the HR rep, the Hiring Manager, and the President. Since it's a small organization compared to my previous corporate experience with 5,000 employees, the small environment was a bit of a surprise. Each person went through every job on my resume in great detail, which was new to me. They also asked about jobs I had dating back to 1996, even ones not on my resume. I didn't have any issues with anyone, but I couldn't tell if the owner was being genuine or condescending. It doesn't matter now, though. I didn't get an offer. Their company culture involves writing 500-page business requirements and traveling three weeks out of the month.
- What differentiates you from the other applicants?
Software QA Tester
The hiring process involves several steps to bring on new team members. It typically starts with drafting a job description, then posting the role. After that, interviews are scheduled, and initial screening interviews are conducted. This is followed by in-person interviews. Finally, we follow up with candidates and extend an offer to the chosen one.
- Can you briefly introduce yourself?
