I put in my application online and then they got in touch with me to set up the interview. It was straightforward with typical property management questions. I got my offer a few days after.

The interview was pretty straightforward. They asked a lot about my strengths and weaknesses, and also asked me to talk about leadership roles. There was also a scenario quiz which was kinda interesting. The quiz had different employee issues that an HR person would typically deal with. I had to figure out what the problem was and then give solutions right then and there.

My second interview for the Leasing & Marketing Specialist role at RAM was cut short unexpectedly, which I now see as a major red flag. This interview was supposed to be a straightforward step for me to transfer to another building within the company. My manager at the time had arranged this interview with the team at the new building. Although the goal was to continue with RAM, the office culture at the new building turned out to be quite negative, unlike my first experience with RAM where the manager was organized, there were no interruptions, and the team culture was really fun. I honestly wish I had stayed at my initial apartment building due to the great team there.

The property manager gave me a call and we talked about my current job and what this position would be like. After that, they invited me for an in-person interview. Honestly, it was so laid back, it barely felt like an interview at all. They pretty much offered me the job right there, as long as I could pass a background and drug screening.
