First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Raintree.
Product Owner
The interview process dragged on for two months before I was ultimately denied the offer. While the interviews themselves were okay, the hiring manager was evasive and I had to constantly chase them for updates after being told they'd email me back right away. They were also overly fixated on references, which was annoying. I'm sure they contacted the three professional references I gave them, but they claimed to have only spoken to two, which felt like a lie. The pay was also quite low for a mid-level role. It's disappointing to consider working for a company that struggles with communication and honesty.
- What makes you the best candidate for Raintree Systems?
Product Manager
The process was long, with four interviews spread out over four weeks, one each week. They were very informal and lacked a cohesive structure, with each interviewer seeming to operate independently. Communication about job expectations, including working with offshore development teams, was clear. However, I was ghosted after the final rounds, which seems to be a recurring issue based on other experiences.
- Could you please introduce yourself?
Services Leader
The team seemed really committed to finding solutions, but the communication was pretty bad during the whole process. I had a hiring manager no-show, some interviewers just disappeared, and there was no follow-up at all. It makes you wonder how they'll treat employees, potential customers, and existing customers if this is how they act during interviews.
- What's something you're skilled at but don't particularly enjoy doing?
Product Marketing Manager
The interview process included 5 rounds over 3 weeks, starting with an HR screening and including interviews with the hiring manager, department heads, and the CEO. There was also a take-home assignment to test skills for the role. The whole process went fast and was clear.
- Can you share some past experiences where you led go-to-market initiatives?
