The interviewer was really nice. She asked me about my past work and if I was willing to do the tasks needed for this role. It wasn't a tough interview at all. The questions were simple to answer. She mentioned there would be two more interviews if I got a callback, but I didn't hear back so I can't say anything about those.

A friend who works there told me about the opening, so I reached out. They got back to me, and I went in for an in-person interview. I brought my resume and some written references. They asked me some questions about my past retail work and then hired me right then and there.

I got there a bit early for my 11:30 interview. The security gate was down and no one was around. The manager said she had to interview someone else first because they were waiting at the wrong desk. She went to get him and started his interview. Then the kitchen manager I was supposed to meet came over and we really clicked. We had a great interview until the GM came back. The kitchen manager thought I was a perfect fit, but then the GM wasn't impressed with what I said.

Behavioral Group

The interview process involves a manager and the general manager. I was interviewed by 3 managers at once because one was out of town. The current hiring manager is the old front desk manager who plays favorites and is biased. She's the same manager who never promoted people, is unfriendly, and acts superior. My first interview went well, but when I reapplied, I was dissatisfied with how I was treated, despite being a top performer in my role.
