I applied online and got an interview invite after a couple of days. I spoke with an Associate and an Executive Director, each for 30 minutes. The interview started with usual questions about my CV and background. Then, we focused on basic Accounting and Valuation concepts. I also had to explain the financial crisis. Overall, it felt like a pretty relaxed interview.

It was a pretty chill interview with 3 bankers, one after another. Super competitive and smart people, typical IB style. They went through my resume, asked about my interest in M&A, valuation techniques, and financial statements – nothing too crazy. We also had a good chat about history. Got the offer two days later.
