I found out about RageOn through a recruiter on LinkedIn. The job description seemed like a perfect culture fit, but after the recruiter ghosted me, I emailed the CEO directly to highlight my potential fit. He responded enthusiastically and connected me with the CTO to start the technical interviews. Things took a strange turn here. I got general background questions, replied, sent two follow-ups, and then was asked to schedule a code challenge via email. Three hours later, I sent my solutions in two languages and followed up three times over ten days with no reply. I then messaged the CEO again to give him constructive feedback on my experience, as he seemed unaware. The CTO apologized, citing being busy, and assured it wouldn't happen again. I accepted this, understanding the demands of startups. We rescheduled a technical interview on Hangouts. I answered his questions and, when we ran out of time on the last one, I explained exactly how I'd finish it. I felt good about it, excited about joining a company that aligned with my values, so I was surprised by the rejection email from the CTO. I replied thanking him and asking for feedback, but again, silence. Overall, I liked talking to the CEO, but the interview process really soured my view on how they treat candidates.

I got an email from a recruiter to send my resume. After I sent it, they replied that I wasn't what they were looking for at the moment and suggested I apply for the development program. Since it seemed like a good company, I went ahead and applied. To be considered, you have to connect with their "leadership" members on Facebook and LinkedIn and fill out a long questionnaire. Then, you need to submit a resume and cover letter. I emailed the recruiter back to say my application was complete, but I never heard anything back. I even tried following up, but still, no response.

It was a long interview process. Started with a phone interview, then a questionnaire that took about 2 hours to finish. After that, there were two in-person interviews. These included a tour of the office and a video call with the team on the east coast. This was the longest interview experience I've had, but I came away with a really good understanding of the company and the team.

It was a 5 step process with a long online interview at the end, which was totally worth it and I learned a lot! First, I submitted my resume. Then, I filled out a contact form. After that, I spoke with an employer. Next, I had a 4-hour online interview. Finally, there was an in-person meeting, followed by an offer and acceptance!
