I got a quick response. There were 2 interviews. They asked questions about my customer service background and how I'd handle tough customer situations. My advice is to be positive, polite, and to talk about brands or stores you like shopping at.

I applied and got called in for a group interview with the store manager and assistant manager a few days later. Then I had a 1 on 1 with the regional manager a couple days after that. A few days later I got the call to start the next day. The whole thing took about a week and a half.

I was asked to come around noon for a group interview, and then later I got called back for a "one on one". During the group interview, we were asked to introduce ourselves first. Then, we were asked if we'd ever shopped at or visited a Rag-O-Rama store and how we'd each describe our experience shopping there.

I applied online and then applied again in the store a couple of weeks later. They called me for an interview about two weeks after that. I went in for the interview two weeks after that and it was a group interview. The interview went great and they were looking for people with a very open schedule. Everyone else in my group interview was a student and could only work part-time. The assistant manager seemed to like me and said she would call back in a couple of days for a one-on-one interview. A few days later they called and said they were choosing someone else but would keep my application on file. It really stunk because of the long interview process. I had a lot of hope that I would get the job but it was a big let down. Still love the store.
