Algorithm Engineer
It was a super long process, really drawn out with quite a few stages. The questions themselves weren't overly difficult, but there was like 3+ weeks between each interview. In total, there were 3 different meetings before they ultimately decided to pass on me. The process included a written test, a one-on-one interview, and a take-home assignment. The questions were pretty relevant to the role and not too challenging.
- Could you implement a straightforward AI algorithm using Python as a take-home task?
Algorithm Developer
First, I had a phone call with a staff member to see if I was a good fit for the job. Then, the first technical interview, which was an hour and a half long. I didn't pass that one, but I know the next steps would have been a second technical interview, a human resources interview, and security clearance.
- Can you tell me about what you're doing in your current job?
- If you are given a binary image with a single line crossing it, how would you determine the camera angle adjustment needed so that the line becomes parallel to one of the image borders?
- Since the line's actual position deviates slightly from its image representation due to signal quantization during picture capture, how can we refine the angle calculated in the previous question for greater real-world accuracy?
Algorithm Developer
We were in a small room with 7 students, and we had to take a test. The test had 3 questions. While we were taking the test, one student at a time was taken out for a 15-minute interview.
