Spoke with the store manager. They asked questions that might catch someone off guard for a retail role, like about teamwork and how you've handled challenging work situations. You don't need to be an expert on bikes, but it's good to show some knowledge about rad or electric bikes. The main goal is to see that you're eager to learn, can follow instructions, and also work independently when needed. We encourage women and people of color to apply.

The interview process was quick and smooth, everything was easy to access. It had three main steps: first a phone chat with a recruiter, then a video call with the hiring manager since it was during COVID, and then a final call to let me know their decision. Even though I talked to three different people, communication was clear and there wasn't much confusion. The paperwork for the background check was super easy to handle using their online tool. One thought I had was how they'd handle someone without much computer access, but for me, it all went by really fast and without any hiccups!
