Applied on Wednesday, got a call from HR on Thursday. Had a laid back and insightful behavioral interview. After that, I was invited to interview on campus. Team members welcomed me and walked me to the interview room. There were two sets of interviews: a 1x1 with the manager and a panel interview with the analysts. It was very behavior-oriented, difficult, but worth it.

The interviews were like speed dating. We had 4 back-to-back 30-minute 1-on-1s with different current Rackers from various parts of the business. There were more than 50 of us in a big room, and we took a lunch break after the first two interviews. After the interviews, we got a tour of Castle and then did some team-based leadership activities. We interviewed on a Friday and found out the decision the following week via a phone call. Rackspace focuses on hiring the person, not just their skills.

I got an email from HR to set up an interview, but there was a miscommunication about the time, so they didn't call. A week later, they rescheduled, and this time the manager called and asked some basic questions. I made some mistakes because I was nervous and got rejected the next day via email.
