Behavioral Presentation

I found out about this agency through an online posting and decided to apply. A recruiter contacted me quickly and was very impressed with my background, leading to an immediate phone screening. She was really personable and enthusiastic. We then scheduled an in-person interview for that same week at their SF office. During the in-person interview, I met with three people who were all very friendly and interested in my PR experience. They seemed to think I was a strong candidate, asking about my availability to start and using language that suggested an offer was likely. While I was interviewing elsewhere, I sent personalized thank-you notes to each interviewer. Only one responded, saying I'd hear back within the week. After I followed up again, I never heard anything else from the company. Despite an otherwise positive interview experience, their lack of communication and follow-up was really disappointing.

I recently went through three stages with HR, the Regional VP, and the Regional MD. The HR person was really nice and the VP was young and energetic. The MD has strong leadership and a good spirit. The conversations were relaxed and open, with no criticism or challenging questions. They seem like really motivated and determined mentors/leaders.

Behavioral

It was a pretty typical interview process. Started with a phone screener, then I was brought in for a series of one-on-one meetings. The in-person interviews were a bit messy because one of the interviewers was actually out of town on vacation. Everyone I met was really nice and I enjoyed chatting with them. However, I didn't feel a connection with one of the hiring managers, so I wasn't surprised not to move forward.

The interview process was smooth and easy. The directions given were perfect. Everyone was very professional and friendly. It was probably one of the easiest interviews I’ve ever completed. The staff made the interview. I would definitely recommend. The interviewer told me all my next steps and was very accurate.
