Behavioral Presentation Case

So, I applied to r2i (Seattle office) with my resume and cover letter. Then they called me in for an in-person interview with two managing directors. About a week later, I got a marketing case assignment with a PowerPoint presentation due. The following week, I went back in to present my work. A week after that, I met with another manager (not a director). About a week went by and I got another offer. I asked r2i if they could match it in salary, benefits, or responsibilities, and they almost did, but I took the other job in the end.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • The interview questions weren't hard, they mainly wanted to hear about my experience and asked for examples.
  • If you know your stuff and can use stories/examples to answer, you'll be fine.
  • They're looking for a personality fit as well as a skills fit.

Behavioral Technical Coding

First you will have a brief phone interview asking about your background, your knowledge, and why you left your last job. If they think you’re a good fit, you’ll meet with a senior engineer. They’ll ask some questions, including problem-solving ones and about your background. If they’re happy with your answers, you’ll get another problem to solve that takes about 30 minutes. Finally, the CTO or another partner will be involved in the decision. They’re mostly not trying to scare you, but they do care about your salary expectations and if you seem to know what you’re doing.

  • What question should you ask to find the path to enlightenment given the scenario about two doors and two guards, one who always lies and one who always tells the truth, where you can only ask one question to one guard?
  • Are there any other unexpected questions?

Behavioral Technical

After submitting my application online, I got a call from the Talent Acquisition Partner to set up an initial phone interview. We discussed the role and my background. This screen helped us see if it was a good fit. Then, I had a second 30-minute phone interview with the VP of Technical Project Management. I enjoyed this one, learning about the role and potential opportunities. We went over specific duties, daily tasks, and internal processes, and I talked about my experience and what I wanted. After that, I was invited for an in-person interview. I met with the VP again to go over my experience and qualifications. Some team members also joined to ask situational and project-specific questions. The whole process was efficient and comfortable, and the team was thorough, letting me ask questions too to make sure it was a good fit.

Behavioral Technical Coding

I had a good interview process. The office is retro with snacks and drinks. It started with a phone chat with the hiring manager. Then I went in for a in-person which had 3 parts. First, I met with the hiring manager and two VPs. Second, I met the Front end team. Both meetings were chill and they asked a lot of questions, showing they really read my resume. Lastly, there was a one-hour task to code an HTML email. It wasn't too tough, but they use Dreamweaver and Photoshop, which was new to me.
