Operations Manager
Had a good meeting with the interviewer. There was some ambiguity about the role. The company is still young and energetic. The process was very fair and transparent, which reflects well on the company's image and culture.

Operations Lead
So I had 3 interviews in total. First was a phone screen, then 2 on-site interviews. The on-site interviews involved meeting with people who would be my peers and also a senior person. The questions were mostly behavioral, but they might differ depending on the role. For the Operations Lead position I applied for, the final interview really focused on "actions" and "results." The interviewer wanted specific examples from my past (personal or professional) where I took certain actions and what happened as a result. If your experience is similar, it's key to show you're accountable, organized, and can take initiative because you won't always have a lot of direction on your projects. You need to be able to manage your own work and be self-motivated.

Operations Lead
Got referred by someone working there, and the recruiter called me within days for a phone chat. It was a basic 30-minute call where they asked about my past work and what they needed in a candidate. They then invited me for in-person interviews the following week. I met with 6 people total: 4 managers and 2 peers. These interviews were also pretty standard and not too tough. I felt good about it and expected to hear back within a week. When I didn't, I tried reaching out to the recruiter, but they were super hard to get in touch with, often sending calls to voicemail and rarely calling back. They said the company was going through some organizational changes and waiting for executive approval before hiring anyone, which felt a bit off. Weeks went by with no updates unless I called them. They kept asking for my start date and saying approval would come in a few days, but then I'd hear nothing for a week or two. After about 3 weeks, they finally mentioned their legal team was looking into my non-compete agreement. Given all that, and how hard it was to get info, I decided to accept another offer. Good thing I did, because if HR is any sign, this place is disorganized.
