Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at R Systems.
Java Developer
They have a really strict security check at the entrance; you can't bring any of your electronic devices like pendrives. The interviewer was very stringent and asked questions directly related to the technologies they use in their projects. It felt like they were looking for a full-stack developer. The interview itself was average, but they expect you to be an expert in everything. On the downside, the infrastructure setup is poor, they operate from a basement, and their time management is not great. The management and recruitment panel also seemed a bit disorganized.
- Can you explain J2EE patterns?
- What do you know about Serializable Class?
- Discuss Collections.
Full Stack Java Developer
I applied for the position through a job portal. An HR representative contacted me to schedule a call. A half-hour telephonic interview was set up. During the call, I was asked some basic questions about core Java and Spring Boot. The interview concluded after about 10 minutes.
- Could you start by telling me about yourself?
- What technologies are you familiar with in this role?
- What's your experience level with AWS?
Java Developer
The interview process was very unprofessional. The entire process took one day and consisted of 4 rounds: two technical rounds, an HR round, and a final discussion with the Project Manager. Although I cleared all rounds, they didn't call for salary discussions as promised. When I inquired, they put my profile on hold for over two weeks before stating they only wanted to hire candidates based in Noida.
- Tell me about Core Java.
- What are your OOPs concepts?
- Can you describe the project flow?
