Customer Service Associate
Got interviewed through college placement. First, there was an aptitude test which was super easy. The second round was a bit harder, involving an email writing and English grammar assessment. Finally, there was the last interview.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Customer Service Representative
It was a three-phased interview process: a phone screen, a first round, and a second round. The first round had quite a few questions, around 15-20, mostly standard for a customer service position, and was conducted by the department manager and their backup. The second round allowed for a closer look at the role with the trainer, who showed an example of a project and its execution to confirm continued interest in the role.
- How do you deal with stress?
- Describe a situation where you had a disagreement with a coworker and how it was resolved.
- Can you share an experience about a project that did not go as planned and how you handled it?
Customer Service Representative
I found myself stumbling into a job fair like situation. During the job fair I was ushered around and introduced to multiple company leaders. During each encounter I was asked questions and we just discussed my past. The job fair wasn't organized and planned with the goal of hiring a person like me, so after my introductions I was forgotten. I followed through with thank you letters and I specifically asked for permission to call back about a week later. On my call back I left a voice message telling that I would be calling again at a specific time 2 days later. When I made the second call I was offered a second interview. The second interview went well, but again I was forgotten until I called back. I was hired on my 5th interview. All along the way, I had to ask for additional interviews and additional call times. I believe it was my persistence that landed me a position with the company, but I wasn't hired for the position that I originally applied for.
- Can you share one of your greatest achievements and one of your most significant failures from your prior role?
