The interviews were online and had 2 parts. First, I spoke with HR, and then I met with the hiring manager. They got back to me quickly and everything was handled smoothly. It was an efficient and straightforward process.

Scheduling the phone interview was tough with the recruiter; she kept saying she missed my emails and it took 2 weeks to get it set up. The time even changed a few times before the call. It felt unprofessional. The interviewer was in HR, so I wasn't sure how much she'd get my answers, but she did answer my general company questions. She started by telling me about the company and the 'Chicago' location, which is an issue for many people in the Chicago area. She seemed nice and knew her stuff, but the office location and the scheduling hassle were really off-putting.

I applied and then a recruiter reached out to make sure I was still interested. After that, I had a phone interview that was about 20 minutes where they asked typical questions about my background and career aspirations and let me ask questions too. If the phone interview went well, I got an in-person interview with the hiring manager. It felt pretty professional but also relaxed, and she was upfront about the role. I got the job offer pretty quickly, within a week, and then we did the offer exchange and I accepted. It was a good process, they kept me in the loop.

I applied online and heard back in a few weeks to set up a phone interview. The phone interview felt forced and impersonal. The recruiter wasn't very engaging and didn't seem particularly interested. No next steps were discussed. I didn't hear back, but when I followed up a few weeks later, I was offered the position. I turned it down because the whole experience lacked professionalism and felt disjointed.
