I started with a 30-min group info session, then got an assessment, and a week later, an invite for a one-on-one interview. This final 30-minute interview was packed with info.

Technical Coding Behavioral

The interview process is pretty standard, with most stages conducted online or over the phone, except for the initial information session. The IQ test is surprisingly challenging, so take your time and read each question carefully, even if you consider yourself intelligent. The coding test is quite straightforward if you've been practicing your coding skills independently. If not, it might be more challenging. The interview itself falls somewhere between the IQ and coding tests in terms of difficulty. Make sure you're familiar with technical terminology. Performing exceptionally well in the interviews could lead to a higher starting salary, potentially around $65k, with the possibility of more if you have prior experience or relevant education, as they cap at about $70k/yr during the initial contract. I didn't have either, only self-taught HTML, CSS, and JS loosely for over a year.

So there were 2 interviews. The first one was kind of informational. They made me take an IQ test. Then they sent me some W3schools stuff to study. The actual test was mostly from W3schools quizzes, focusing heavily on HTML, with a few super basic JavaScript questions. Honestly, that test is why I didn't take the job seriously. For the second interview, they didn't even mention my test score. They asked me logic questions about JavaScript and some framework questions. The interviewers were really nice though. After that, I met with the recruiter again. It's weird because the recruiter told me different things three times. These jobs require a 12-week training program, no matter your experience level. They don't check your GitHub or have you build anything, they just give you an HTML test and then say you're not good enough. But before you even start, you have to sign a 3-year contract. If you decide to leave and find something better, depending on how far you are in the training, you have to pay them back, plus legal fees if you can't cough up $12,000 within 10 days.

The hiring process was super simple: first an info session, then an analytical test, followed by a skills assessment, and finally a technical skills interview. It all took a bit over a month from start to offer. They were really clear upfront that relocation is a must for employment consideration.
