Consultant
I applied through my university and was invited to an informational session the day before the interview. During the informational, they talked about the company and what they do, and mentioned that they hire people from all majors. The first interview was a one-hour session with a manager. They started by introducing themselves and then asked some basic conversational questions to help me relax. The manager then asked me to 'tell me about yourself' and followed up with typical behavioral questions. That same night, I received a call to see if I advanced to the second round, which was scheduled for the next day.
