First, I had a screening interview that went okay. But then they sprung a surprise aptitude test on me that had to be finished the same day. This test had a lot of questions that didn't seem relevant, plus some standard coding and SQL questions. The main problem was the time limit. I saw from other reviews that some people got a heads-up email about the test, but I never got one, so I was totally unprepared for the SQL and the 5 math questions (which were mostly about basic interest, with no formulas or definitions provided). I only had 10 minutes for those, so it was a lot of guessing. They don't tell you the passing score for the aptitude test; I'm guessing it's at least 50% (I scored below that). Oh well, it's one of my first interviews, so I can use this to get ready for future ones.

I had a phone interview with the recruiter, then a teams interview with the hiring manager, after that a final interview with another manager on the team. After the second interview, the hiring team informed me that I should hear back the following week. After not hearing back from the team, I sent a follow-up email regarding my application. A manager reached out to me and gave me a verbal offer and assured me I would have a written offer in my inbox the following week. I never got the written offer or a response to the second follow up email. I was ghosted and never heard back from anyone on the hiring team.

I applied through Indeed and got an interview scheduled about a week later. The recruiter interview was very brief, maybe 2 minutes, and they rushed through it. After that, they sent an assessment where I needed to get at least 40%. The assessment pretty much expects you to already know manual testing, selenium, test management, SDLC, cucumber, analytical thinking, and restassured inside out. If you know all these things, their training would be pointless and the pay is too low for your expertise.

So the interviews had like two behavioral screenings with a recruiter, we talked about the company and the role and my background. Then there was a technical screening with Protoc that had technical and coding questions.
